Backend / Systems Engineer
I'm Jude Ndubuisi, a Backend / Systems Engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria. I build production systems with Rust, TypeScript and Python, with a focus on backend architecture, performance, scalability and reliability.
I'm the founder of Sendryx, a cross-border payments platform. My work there has involved backend systems for wallets, stablecoin payments, fiat settlement, payout automation, asynchronous processing and blockchain integrations.
Outside any particular product, I am interested in how software works at different levels: APIs and databases, down through networking and concurrency to the infrastructure that production systems run on.
01Experience
Founded and lead development of Sendryx, a cross-border payments platform. The work covers the backend and infrastructure behind its payment flows: Rust services on Axum with PostgreSQL via SQLx, asynchronous workers, wallets, settlement workflows, webhooks and monitoring, and on-chain processing across Solana and Ethereum.
Worked on payment infrastructure integrating Solana and Tron with crypto-fiat settlement workflows. Built and documented REST APIs with NestJS and MySQL, implemented transaction validation on the on-chain payment path, and maintained production systems through performance work and infrastructure upgrades.
Built backend infrastructure for an NFT platform in the Abstract ecosystem, including REST APIs on Node.js and Express, Web3 integrations, and AI-powered features.
Built and deployed a social-platform backend using Node.js, Prisma and PostgreSQL on Neon, with AWS SES for messaging and a deployment on Fly.io.
